Seems to me waiting until we have refining, and can thus see oil, seems like a good first step. ;)

Some postitions such as President of Peaceful Expansion can be applied now as they would advocate settling in the desert tundra and such.

Sure, Imperial Oil sounds like an offshoot of the Merchant Guilds main policies.

Consider us affiliated.

Maybe you could expand it to all modern resources.
But I will apply for the President of Wartime Expansion

It's kind of early to have an industrial/modern citizen group. I think this one should wait awhile.

In the meantime, please give your feedback to the Shadow of the Imperial Order, which is developing a 6 millenium master plan. including the assertion of oil when the time is right.
This Order agrees in principle with both the Merchants Guild and The Imperial Oil.
Yet, you could start citizen as hoc groups like Imperial Iron, Imperial Sulphur, Imperial Coal and Imperial Uranium throughout the various periods, and you wold be employed. :)

EDIT:

opps... black hole is registered. I'm sorry. hmmmm, I will start the interveiw process then.
===================

hmm... black_hole and blackheart have both applied for job as president of wartime expansion... I checked the citizen registry and blackheart has not registered, thus the position goes to black_hole (who also has more experience) , blackheart, once you register in the citizen registry, you can choose another position (I would suggest president of peaceful expansion as it will have the most action early on)

THE DECISION:
black_hole
Due to the fact that he has more experience, and that he is not holding office thus has nothing better to do (blackheart is Assistant to FA).

Blackheart if you would like another position (vice-pres, or other pres) you don't need to apply again, just say what position you want.

You were both wrong about the man-hole thing (Why are manhole covers round?). The awnser is that if they were square, they could fall in (if on they're edge) as the length from one corner to another corner dioganally in a square is greater then across horizontally. Also, you can easly transport circle manhole covers as you can role them.

There is desert to the south of the capital. Imperial Oil advocates the settlement of that land as oil may ly there.

I think Oil is that black liquid substance from the ground that can be burned. Its way to smelly to be used a fuel now since it has not been refined and the tech for that wont come for a long time ;).

If you refine your program for the ancient era, you might have some valid program until refining... Refinement...

I might as well try to get Vice President of Trade.
1. No ,this is the first time I'm playing a demogame
2. No but right now i'm part of the Order of Yevon and Pac. I've also applied for membership in the Merchants Guild but have'nt gotten a answer on that yet.
3. No but I may aim for something in Demogame 6.
4. Probably because you can twist them if they're round and if they were square they would need a handle and you can't have handles sticking out of the road can you?

2. Not before DG4
3. Official Cartographer, on vacation
4. When you pour molten metal it ends up in a round shape.

Quick Question : when you say we have to talk with ministers do you mean through PM

Thru threads, PM, anything. But as we really can't trade oil for a while, just sit back and relax. But once we discover it there is going to be flurry of activity. Oh and you got the job, you are VP of Trade. At least that is what I think you want to be.

Might as well.

1. No
2. Not before DG4
3. Official Cartographer, on vacation
4. When you pour molten metal it ends up in a round shape.

Okay, what job do you want?

I invite Imperial Oil to Kagemusha, if you write some fun stuff in the Casino and city threads of relevance to the city and entertainment, I will grant you a desert tile in case there might be oil there.

All three :) I am the one running the Carlysle Group :) Frank Carlucci III, not James Baker III, George Bush II or Sir Donald III. (Fun you got numerals in dynasty family names in the USA, that tradition died out long ago in Scandinavia).

Actually George Bush Sr. was very creative and gave his son a different middle name, now we have to refer to them as Bush 1st and Bush 2nd.
