This poll will be open for 3 days, or to the start of the Creation Day chat, whichever comes first.

Though I'd rather it be made more flag shaped and have "DG5" taken out. A country doesn't really need to put its name in the flag. ;)

Nice work, GeZe, but the fact that #137 is getting so much support has me astounded. In contrast, #129b embodies several facets of the Japanese culture, and fills this Japanatican with a strong sense of civic pride.

137 does not so much embody Japanese culture for me, as it does Japanatica culture.

Yes, you're right. The winner of this poll and our new nation's flag, 129b was designed after the original Rising Sun flag, and was positioned off center.
Rik Meleet Aug 03, 2004, 06:02 AM Is it just me, or is 129b just a wee bit off-center?It is based on the Japanese Naval flag, which is supposed to have it's sun off-center. It was actually fairly dificult to accomplish that, while still having the Katana's and the rays looking nice.
