Hi, new here, need help...

Looked around the forum, but I couldnt find anything on this problem.

I have been playing civ III since it came out, went to walmart the other day, saw Civ III Gold and couldnt stop myself.

Bought it, brought it home, installed it...

Then I remember to uninstall the orignal Civ.

Then I couldnt play Civ III Gold!!!

I tried to unistall it, manualy tried to unistall it, wiped it off the system...

But, when I poped the CD back in to reinstall, it only gave the option to "Play Civ III Gold", not to install!

Help!

I cant reinstall it, and it of course wont play.

I explored the CD, but I couldnt find an install.exe for the Civ III Gold.

What can I do,

Thank you so much, going through withdralls, its so much worse knowning multiplayer is on there....

You probably need to manually delete the registry entries manually.

Try this link (http://www.atarisupport.com/newfaq/civilizationiii.php?browser=1&issueNum=239&osType=WINXP&pageDisplay=MAIN#faq_prodissues) :)

If you already have Civ3, don't bother with Gold. Buy Conquests...which has Gold included.

No, Conquests has PTW included. If you buy C3C, you'll need to have some kind of Civ3 disk (Original, GOTY, Gold) in order to play install and play it.

Civ3 Complete will include the GOTY (I think, original at least) and C3C.
