I never thought anyone would be so stupid as to not have the patience to wait a few months to buy a game for $60.

How did he manage to legally get a copy that he could then sell on ebay?

Some Stores sold them before the date, and people got it.

One thing that is kind odd is the bidding history, people outbidded there-selfs.

It may be some kind of hoax... I really can't see why someone would spend so much on a game that will be released soon anyway.

You do realise that the buyer was joking? Right?

That is so fake. No one would pay 20 million. I don't care how stupid they are. That's just pathetic. It's still kinda funny though.

Try a few days. Plus, once it gets shipped, you would already be able to pick it up in a store. I wish I have 20 million to spend. Wasting that much money on something so stupid is just...undescribeable.

Anyone with $20 million to spare probably already has some way to get it lol. Rich people probably have a rich-chain so they all get whatever whenever.

Nevertheless, I didn't know Doom 3 was done already. About time, though. :p

Anyone who paid 20 million for Doom 3 is too stupid to have ever gotten 20 million dollars.

Just played it.

Bad gameplay, terrible dark graphics. The textures are great, but you cannot turn Gamma higher after you reached the max. - and it is still dark, you often hardly see your own weapon.

The atmosphere is creepy, close quarters, narrow rooms and passageways, extremely tiny outdoor-areas.

But well, in terms of atmosphere there are better games, as well as in terms of graphics! (Radeon 9800 and Ti4400 used for testing, Athlon 64 3000 and P4 2,8).

Framerate is poor on both machines, you can get decent 30+ even with the Ti4400 however on med detail, and it does still look very similar to high detail.

Single enemies, triggered to appear in your back usually.

This game is a big letdown. Doom 1+2 were much better, had a different style and well - Far Cry, Joint Operations, all are capable of lush foliage and large outdoor environments and most important, better level design and gameplay, and they are not dark and dull looking.
