Well if you read the tother threads then I think the general consensus is that CTP is rap and no one should get it. Although some people do like it so maybe you will like it and you will not have wasted your money.

I can't really see what the big fuss is about. CTP aren't particularly bad, really. Obviously, they aren't as addictive or enjoyable as Civ 2. However, they really aren't too bad. CTP2 is much improved over CTP, so if you're getting anything then get that. However, it does drop the space element that was probably one of the better features in CTP, for no apparent reason that I can see, which is disapointing.

personallyt i like CTP because of space colinization and all that. if you wanna cheat it's easy if you don't then don't, Civ3, and 2 is better but they're different enough to own both and play both.
