Maybe this idea has been posted before, but I cant find it:
What if leaders changed each age, so each civ would have 4 leaders(if we keep the current age system)

What about civs that weren't in existence during those ages?

Americans in the Ancient Era? Sumerians in the Modern Era?

why would you want them to waste time on this i mean i would want them putting there time into devolpeing game features that effect the game not pictures and names

Could use steph's answer - use the civ's that came before and after in that geographic region. Americans would use Native American leaders in the early eras, Romans would use Italian leaders, etc.

If they change something else (like traits) with them, ok, otherwise no, thanks.

But I still prefer my 'solution/idea'. :)

okay, jus an idea to spruce up the game :)
I really dont think it would be that hard to put it, but maybe I am wrong

Honestly I think a lot of the ideas like this are not improving the game but just nit-picking.

It wouldnt be so much as hard as it would be time consumeing plus more time with the pic animations and so, time which i would like to see spent on other things

pointless since the leaders of the civ serve no real purpose. Unless they incorporate Mitsho's idea.

besides, the leader depicts the Omnipresent/Omnisient power (player) who is controling the civ and that dosen't change through the game. If anything the "Leader" should depict the type of government or the citizens as a collective. Just my 2 cents.

(by the way, if someone says "a penny for your thoughts" and you put your 2 cents in do you get change?) :D

No. The government gets the extra penny as a "thought tax"

I like the idea of changing leaders or even leaders being able to pick from their advisors or what have you, who will succeed them.
