A decision needs to be made whether to continue building the warrior in our capital city, or whether we should switch to a settler this turn so we can get our next city founded. For discussion on this topic click here. (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=96137)

The question to you is:

Do you want to continue building a warrior or switch to a settler immediately?
P.S. For those of you who are afraid of committment, there is no right or wrong answer here. :)

I say Settler of course. We have a great location for a second city available. We should use it and move on.

I think we should have 3 warriors before we build settlers.
3 warriors + 1 worker = no upkeep cost. The settler will require upkeep for only a short while.

Settler, We need to explore quickly, but expanding quickly is more important, we've got a few potential locations, which should grow even more... In fact the North and NE look promising, so we could take on the risk and use the Settler to explore, taking it to the Hills and reevaluating our city location when we got there.

The settle option looks like the best one to me.

Settler, we need to gain territory and resources as quickly as possible.

No other option.

No abstain option.

Public poll.

Strike three - poll is out!

WHy is there no Abstain?

Because there was a choice put forth by leadership in the tc of keeping with the warrior about to be built or to change to a settler immediately. Therefore, two choices. Abstain made no sense to me. If it does to you, then I apologize for the oversight.

Abstain does not mean that you don't want to vote. Abstain means that you do not care what happens, and that whatever goes, x number of people would still be happy.

But I wanted a Settler anyways, so I guess it doesn't concern me.

That info would not be useful in helping the DP make a decision at next tc.

It could ease his conscience :mischief:

(Also, if you don't vote you have to click the "View Results" link every time you want to view results. Abstain is a nice albeit unnecessary short cut)

Maybe we could have a choice of: I don't really care one way or the other, but I don't like having to click more than necessary. ;)
