I had to uninstal civ3 gold and conquests, then i installed conquests, then tried to play it, but i realized i needed civ3.
then i TRY to install civ3gold, but when i insert the disk all that comes up is
"play civ3gold". "uninstall", "readme", and "exit". I try playing but this error came up, something about a "wink32" or something like that :confused: missing. but i just wanted reinstal it, but i choose "uninstall" and nothing happens....
any help i would apreciate, thanks for any reply

You probably need to run a manual uninstall to clear the registry settings manually.

can't seem to find civ3gold there :(,it says that if you cant uninstall it from add/remove programs to do that, but the problems is that i did removed it from add/remove programs, but it wont let me install it again...it says "civ3gold", but i cant do anything, ill keep looking for an answer, but please some one help me...

I found a way to do it, I just went to "My Computer", then i opened the disk at D:, and clicked on setup, i just hope it works...
