Can we add an indicator in the forum index to each forum and sub-forum where it says the ''# of new posts since your last visit''?

I just thought it could be useful. :)

That would be kinda use full, tho. :)

Or the number of threads with new posts so that its possible to tell whether it is just one thread with new posts or several.

And make it so if you click the "go to first new post" button, it brings you to the first new post since you viewed that thread, not the last time when you entered the forum. I'm not sure if that's possible with vb3.2, but it sure would help.

Well, that's kinda how it works now, Silverflame. If there are new posts, it now takes you to the newest post you haven't read. Not the newest post since you were last here, like before the upgrade.

As for new posts since last login, I think it is possible in vB3, as we had it in 2.x. That might have been a hack tho. I'm also thinking that the search function is tied into it, and while search is disabled, this feature wont' work.

Doesn't seem to be working for me. When I hit go to new post in this thread, it took me to the one right under you, even though I didn't read yours yet.

Weird, it works that way for me....
