Not quite a civ-game. It is a "normal" MMORPG except that you do not fight - you just build things. A civ-like game would have you taking over others. There is nothing like that in this game. :(

Wait... Don't we have the Inter-Site Democracy Game (ISDG), it has many players. And it has been around longer than this I bet.

@Emp. Nap: That isn't really a MMOTBSG (Massively Multiplayer Online Turn-Based Strategy Game). There was one that was put out by a Canadian development team and a French publisher - I can't remember the name of it for the life of me. I tried the free demo they had but it wasn't much fun....

Now that I think about it - it would be difficult to have a MMOTBSG....it would almost certainly be real-time....so let's go with MMORTSG. Said something like Ma-Morts-Ga. :D
