Please no "I voted for xxxxx" we don't care. If you have anything useful to say then say it, but other wise don't post.
Cyc Aug 19, 2004, 06:38 PM I voted for Zarn. And I don't care if a 16 year old votes for Bush. So lump it.
Black_Hole Aug 19, 2004, 06:52 PM well it is a tough vote, but im not telling who i voted for :p
now in all seriousness: i significatly helped bclg draft the rules and get the rpg up, so put your vote in the right spot
and cyc: it seems that 3/5 of the candidates openly support Bush :D
Zarn Aug 20, 2004, 01:57 AM I voted for Zarn. And I don't care if a 16 year old votes for Bush. So lump it.
How about a 19 year old that voted Bush? ;)
Others: I have the experience in managing the Jedi Council (a pain to manage), but not much experience after that, RPG wise. It doesn't mean I can't do they job, though. ;)
BCLG100 Aug 20, 2004, 06:19 AM hmm, i dont think some people realise the stuff some members have done to get the RPG up and running, BH while you did help with the earlier rules the latter rules were either done by predominantely me or Strider, written up anyways. Anyways if you dont want to vote for me i URGE you all to vote for Strider.
Black_Hole Aug 20, 2004, 08:35 AM okay so i helped with the early rules, sorry about that
also sorry i forogot to mention you working on the skill/merits/flaw system strider
Stuck_as_a_Mac Aug 20, 2004, 10:08 AM i'm voting for zarn (despite the fact his vote actually (unlike my 16year old fake vote) counts). He knows what he's doing RPGwise. And holy crap, am I actually agreeing with Cyc on something?
/me realizes he is really outnumbered in the RPG, but hey, SaaMsan can keep sitting in that corner with his button.
Black_Hole Aug 20, 2004, 10:16 AM Strider, I have just noticed you left out our poor friend Babbler:

Or maybe you were taking him literally when he said he would if noone else would
superpelon Aug 20, 2004, 10:31 AM Voten por AMLO para Presidente!!!
Sorry, couldnt help myself.
Zarn Aug 20, 2004, 11:59 AM Well, I lost. :p
Wait a minute... it's because I follow Yevon isn't it?
Okay, I'm good. ;) (I was j/k)
Black_Hole Aug 20, 2004, 12:07 PM Well, I lost. :p
Wait a minute... it's because I follow Yevon isn't it?
Okay, I'm good. ;) (I was j/k)
i follow yevon and Im winning, so it cant be that, and anyway the top 2 will be the winnners, not jus 1
Zarn Aug 20, 2004, 12:09 PM ...and with my crying, I get another vote. No shame here. ;)
I thought it was two, but the way it was set up made it seem that only one was elected. I though public and pick two should have been done (and we can see if you cheat), then.
BCLG100 Aug 20, 2004, 01:19 PM Well we can hardly start it again, so we may as well just continue.
Ankka Aug 20, 2004, 01:50 PM I voted for Zarn,BTW, that was for the crying. ;)
I too think a multi-choice public poll would have been better...
Curufinwe Aug 20, 2004, 03:36 PM BCLG- I checked adn the election style is the single non-transferable vote. As for the calls for a pick two with public, that is more fair, and is proven in political science. Therefore, I suggest that alternative, non-binding poll be had, and we'll see if the results differ. this is supposed to be a game of Democracy, and so, within reason, we should choose the most democratic option. SNTV (the kind we're using for this) is not the most democratic, and should be rejected as such.
BCLG100 Aug 20, 2004, 05:05 PM well ok, i dont mind if we start this thing again, i was just saying do we want to?
Strider Aug 21, 2004, 06:16 PM No, were not starting it again. This is perfectly fair and reasonable, and I don't plan on waiting another couple of days for the damn poll to wrap up.
Ankka Aug 22, 2004, 01:22 PM Okok... no need to get angry here, we're just discussing the options... :)
Black_Hole Aug 23, 2004, 12:29 PM looks like bclg has got this election with me and zarn tied for second
if you havent please vote! this will be open for 6 hours
also if zarn and i do tie for second, will we have a runoff or 3 SMs? i have a feeling it will be run-off...
BCLG100 Aug 23, 2004, 12:48 PM hmm i dunno, its still very close i dont like the idea of 4 of us being sperated by 2 votes and only 2 of us actually 'winning' still hmm...
blackheart Aug 23, 2004, 01:17 PM Now it is BCLG and Black_Hole who are tied. Why would we have runoffs? Winner and runner up get to be SM don't they?
Black_Hole Aug 23, 2004, 01:29 PM Now it is BCLG and Black_Hole who are tied. Why would we have runoffs? Winner and runner up get to be SM don't they?
yeh someone just voted for me :D but if 2 ppl are tied for second and there is only 1 person in first we might need a run off
Black_Hole Aug 23, 2004, 01:30 PM hmm i dunno, its still very close i dont like the idea of 4 of us being sperated by 2 votes and only 2 of us actually 'winning' still hmm...
i know, but we dont have that many ppl voting so we cant get much bigger results :(
Ankka Aug 23, 2004, 01:44 PM Now the situation is easy, but we will have to have runoff polls if we have a tie for second place or a three-way tie for first place or something...
Strider Aug 23, 2004, 03:59 PM If two people tie than there will be no run-off poll... however if three people tie than there will be.
Black_Hole Aug 23, 2004, 06:36 PM election closed,
I look forward to working with you bclg :)
Strider Aug 23, 2004, 06:36 PM Yup, the election winners are BCLG and Black Hole
BCLG100 Aug 24, 2004, 05:33 AM my comiserations strider and zarn it was very close in the end.
