His Excellency, Supreme Potentate DaveShack shall not be surpassed.

Unless Chieftess wins. Which gives me a real problem, because I don't know what the feminine term for Potentate is.

As I've stated, Potentate. And, by the way, best of luck to Chieftess.

I believe we should keep daveshack in office

Vote for me! We need someone who can keep a detailed record of events that happen during and between turns.

I think both Daveshack and Chieftess did a good job this term, and want them both to continue. They have different styles and complement each other.

Whoh, Were in a tie now . I hope this poll does not end up in a deadlock where both canidates are tied :o.

Sorry, I accidentally voted. I clicked "Vote" instead of "Show Results" my mistake.

Subtract one vote from CT (sorry CT :().

I'm going to refrain from voting until after the next chat.

As much as I would like to honor your request :mischief: we cannot accept vote changes in elections, because there is no way to distinguish the original vote to verify the change is correct.

Based on Gogf's public admission, a moderator can actually have TF check election results and change them if necessary. And since a mod stands to benefit from the mistake, it's the only proper course of action.

I'm not sure Thunderfall would bother himself with such trivial affairs. Didn't he once say that he would not?

I kind of like this situation, reminds me of a certain election in an American state called Florida, which according to rumors took place 4 years back. That election was also very close, and it ended up in a Supreme Court vote. Since the mods are effectively the mods of the demogame, and they are the ones handling situations like this, we should probably write into the constitution that moderators are Supreme Court, since after all, they will be the final point of descision in such a situation.

Gotta vote for DaveShack. I agree with DZ. The guy? admits to a mistake, it should be taken care of.

Let the election run it's course, if the final result would have meant that Daveshack would have tied with CT in the election instead of being one vote behind then it shouldn't matter.

If we're tied, we can always blame it on Florida. :p

Alas, I am considering the chances that His Excellency Supreme Potentate DaveShack might loose.

Oh well. Her Excellency Supreme Potentate Chieftess sounds much better :D

Never heard of a potentate before. Wouldn't it be Supreme Excellency?

po·ten·tate (pōt'n-tāt') Pronunciation Key (http://dictionary.reference.com/help/ahd4/pronkey.html)
n.
(1) One who has the power and position to rule over others
(2) One who dominates or leads a group or an endeavor
(3) One who is potent; one who possesses great power or sway
Potentate derives from Late Latin potentatus, "a powerful person," from Latin potentatus, "power, especially political power; supremacy," from potens, "able, powerful," from posse, "to be able."

In other words, someone who's potent. And an impotentate is...well... ;)

I have had some rather vocal problem with the Shack Administration, so I voted for regime change. Hopefully Chieftess will schedule chats that I can actually attend. :p

Subtract one vote from CT (sorry CT :().I'm not going to do it. If the result of this election is within 2 votes of eachother we can always ask Thunderfall to have a look at the votes. This seems the fairest to me.
