How exactly do you add units to VCiv3? I read that tutorial on the subject, but it didn't help.

Go in the tutorial subforum or the unit one and read the sticky. It's plain simple in vanilla. If you only find a tutorial about C3C, just ignore the ANIMNAME_ part
