A map of the Carribean. Size: 100x140 for Conquests.
This map contains only terrain and rivers. A map with standard ressources will follow soon. Please post any corrections/suggestions. Thanx and have fun with it.

1. Update:

- Includes the changes made by MaisseArsouye: fixed Little Antilles.
Props and thanx for that :goodjob:
- The Map now includes ressources; standard strategic ressources, but
changed the luxuries and bonuses to geographic accurate ones (coffee,
maice, cacao...) :)

jatibi, excellent map! I've been looking for a Carribean map for ages. Now all we need is a "Pirates of the Carribean" scenario.

Cheers!

EDIT: Ah crap  Can some one convert this to a compatible bic map for PtW? Would be muchly appretiated! :undecide:

There already is one ;) . Just in case anyone thought I was dead or something, I'm not, but I don't really play Civ3 any more. I was bored and looking at my favorites list so I came to this website.

hmm i played it a bit but there are so many resources a bit too much :/

You wouldn't want to enlargen it so that it includes Louisiana & East-Mexico? I could use it for my Pirates scenario ;)

EDIT: Search for "civ map tweaker" to find a program which can do it.

@blackwave: i know. it isn't really made for an epic game; the civ in cuba and on the continent are clearly in advantage. the resources are in correct position, just to indicate where they should be, for scenario makers. okay, these exotic birds are a guess ;) i attached the no-resources map again, you could modify it by randomzing the resources, or whatever.

@paasky: i have that tool, but it quite doesn't work  perhaps you could do it on your own? ;) i'm quite busy with civ (really working on a scenario) and a _lot_ other things. if you like - modify the map as you wish, a credit like "based on a map made by jatibi" would make me very proud :D

if i have the time, and i could effort to be lazy, i will do as you wish. ;)
but it's cool that i get some feedback here, that map directory is a really good thing :goodjob:

Well, its now 170x170, but the areas I made don't have anything else than coast... It can fit Bermuda & Mexican Gulf now though.

I'm guessing that the problem is that you compress your biq files. (Civ3QEdit>View>Options>Compress bic files OFF)
