11-11-05 New Version 1.1 out, follow this link:http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=140053

The Russian Battlecruiser Kirov is done. It is quite a formidable foe. Built to wreak havoc on NATO carrier groups and possessing strong anti-air capabilites the only weaknesses it has, is that it only carries 20 anti-ship missiles, that must be reloaded in port, which limits it's offensive capability.

Oh there was another Kirov unit made a long while back, and I have been using that for myself most of the time. This is definitely more advanced and the animations are sweet.

The older one was also good, I guess Wyrmshadow made it, don't remember. This has better colors though.

Extraordinary, and your attention to detail in the superstructure was IMHO well worth the effort :)

Best,

This would make an excelent addition to the 40K mod as a late game ship for the Imperial Guard. :rockon:

@vingrjoe

first of all, this unit looks awesome in-game.

however, i noticed a fatla error in the ini. there is no text for the sound files. albeit it's a very minor error and i fixed it as soon as i noticed it. however, there is no error message and it took me some time to figure this out.

i attach a fixed ini w/ Aegis Cruiser linked sounds.

I intentionally left the sounds blank for people to fill in as they see fit. Regardless, your effort is appreciated .

no problem.

the game crashes if there isn't even the blank sound text entry.

I've followed your work for a while now and must say it's amazing! Also wonder if you've any interest in the Kreigsmarine? With it's short but amazing history I'd love to see the Prinz Eugen.

Thanks, had never been to CDG. Looks like I might get lost over there awhile.

Pamola, thank you for the compliments. As Psycho mentioned, Wyrmshadow has made the Prinze Eugen, but in addition to that he has made the Bismarck , one or two German Aircraft carriers, and I belive some U-Boats. So he has made quite a few ships for the Kreigsmarine.

Nothing atm, well, actually I've modified an Arleigh Burke DDG to the flight III configuration, it has a hangar for helicopters. I just haven't got around to animate it yet. I may redo my Aegis cruiser also, otherwise the well has gone dry, so to speak.
