Caproni Ca.40 heavy triplane bomber 2016-10-05

Initial version of the Italian Caproni Ca.4 heavy bomber triplane series, by Società di Aviazione Ing. Caproni, 1915-16, powered by three 200 hp Isotta Fraschini V5 engines. Prototype and 3 units built. The success of the design gave rise to the Ca.41 and Ca.42 models.
