Yes, it is things like tha I suffer from too. I stubbornly keep this sig even though I get a lot of insults for it from the Steam people. There`s much more of us than meets the eye, except they get scared off because as soon as they say anything they get shouted away by steam fanatics. Like you say, it`s really bad if you might lose your internet, which has happened to me and then after a while you can`t play your game you paid for. It`s wrong.
I hope that one day devs will take note and give us less draconian form of DRM. So I keep the sig to protest peacefully.

I appreciate your signature line. Steam has some cool aspects, but I hate not physically owning or controlling the core game files. I lose my internet connection all the time, and steam really screws up the game when it loses a connection and then reconnects.
