Nope, still gives an error if you e.g. try to see an attached image.

I just tried downloading a resource and it works fine w/o logging in.

EDIT: Ok, I found the issue. You were talking about forum attachments, which was not set for unregistered users. I have enable unregistered users to download attachments now as well.

Thanks for this, but in the first post you have updated the "beta version" link, rather than the main "stable version". There is currently no beta version (and there has not been one for many months) so perhaps you should just remove that link.

I may have missed a setting somewhere, but is it possible to modify the search results in the d/b to allow for more than 20 items per "page" and to allow for more than 200 results total. Additionally, a "sort by category" and in "alphabetical order", rather than by date uploaded would be beneficial. For instance, if I look for all units made by a particular author now I can only view the last 200 uploads unless I go to their profile page, which does show all their uploads, but they're only listed by upload date.
