Are their any that are so OP that you won't play them out of principle or they are too easy? I find I don't play Persia as I feel it's just too strong. I never played Scythia either, ever.
In a peace deal you get 1 gold 1 luxury and peace but you can get that exact same deal and a relic too. If you take the relic are you cheating?

Do you care about warmongering penalties? What about when you are playing a Civ like Macedon or Persia? Do you even attack friends sometimes if you feel like it? Does it matter even if it is egregious penalty?
When playing Macedon for instance do you feel it best to wait for a casus belli? or...
I wonder what keeps people playing with an AI rated that low (2)? Civ 6 is obviously a popular game and a successful title. I assume the majority play single player as I do. So it's curious how it hasn't completely died if the AI is this bad.
I recently came back to game and was researching a prophet I had 1 turn to go and no one was close, on the turn I was supposed to receive the prophet I got nothing and on the great person screen said something like no more can be recruited.
Any idea what happened?
This game apparently has some good mods out and universal acceptance of a horrible stock AI.
If you choose not to play with mods, is there any particular reason? Such as the stock game provides a good enough challenge? Or the mods don't make enough difference for the trouble?
