2 questions...
1) Is it possible to see the current wwp anywhere in the game? Do I need an editor to see?
2) Does having my bombers shot down by flak count as wwp against me?
In C3C v1.15, is the anarchy period that is caused by your citizens overthowing the governement due to war weariness the same length as the anarchy period caused from switching governments voluntarily?
Thanks for the info guys :)
I will bomb the tiles, hoping to crater them.
I also may switch my invasion point so I don't have to go so far within the enemy's border and use Marines instead.
I've been experimenting with waging an offensive war in a Democracy, trying to minimize the effects of war weariness. In my current C3C v1.15 game as the Ottomans, I'm at war with Arabia. Both of us are researching modern techs.
With this in mind, I have 2 questions.
1. Is the AI able to...
Sorry if this has been asked before, search is disabled...
I currently run C3C on a PIII 700MHz with 256 MB of Ram. I was thinking of buying a cheaper laptop, Celeron 2.0 GHz with 256 MB of Ram... will Conquests run ok on a Celeron?
What are your system specs?
I've built coastal fortresses when I've been behind in the game, but they are never enough help. You'll still need a navy to keep from getting pounded.
541 You have burned every save from every game you've played onto CD just to have them to play over again.
542 You've built a database to log all the games you've played and have the saves from 541 cross-referenced in the database along with details such as which civs, what difficulty level...
Thanks for the quick reply...
Since I was planning a surprise attack, I'm going under the assumption that troops in my city are not visible to the enemy, but troops outside of cities are.
Is this a correct assumption? Or does the computer "see" all your troops no matter where you place them?
I was staging a large invasion force (over 200 units) in a city that bordered my enemy. I had so many units in that city that whenever I right clicked on the city and tried to scroll down to the "wake all" command, I had to click forever. Any way to scroll through this list quicker?
287 You think it's pefectly natural for someone to switch careers 3 times - from working for the IRS (tax collector), to scientist, to entertainer.
288 You take your civ 3 CD everywhere with you (for safe keeping of course).
289 You've read the civ3 manual more than twice
290 You ask...
261 - You never had a typing course in school, but you can hit the F, G, J, A, and all F# keys without looking at your keyboard.
262 - You have 2 spare keyboards in your house just in case the one you are using breaks
I'm very interested to see how the turnless mode really works. If I understand correctly (and I could very well be wrong) players "turns" will be happening simultaneously. I just don't see how I could "attack" a unit that another player may be "moving" when we moving our units at the same time.
