    New IPhone 13 compatibility?

Hi, I’m in the process of renewing my IPhone 8 and was considering either the 11 or 12 which are both listed as compatible by the Devs. However, these are still costly phones considering the age they now are. This has urged me to consider going for the IPhone 13. I appreciate that this is very...

    Civ6 for iPad

It works great on a new Pad, maybe consider trading your old one in. I got £60 from Currys PC World for my 5 year old Pad.

Civ6 now on iPhone7 and later

I agree with you regarding Battery drain. I can play on the IPad for 2-3 hours and have 50% power left but drain on my IPhone 8 is far heavier. I wouldn’t play on my mobile if I was out and about and reliant on the phone. It’s fine for a 30 minute play or maybe an hour dependant on the initial...

Civ6 now on iPhone7 and later

Hi Leatherface, I don’t believe that the widening availability of the game on alternative and mobile devices will cheapen the game. I have yearned for this recent emancipation of the game to evolve via new technology for several years now. Don’t forget that Civ Revolution happened some years ago...

Civ6 now on iPhone7 and later

I am presently playing with the Romans on Prince and on a tiny continental map. I have no difficulty whatsoever playing on a small screen ( IPhone 8 ) I wear a good pair of spectacles as I’m aged 65 years. With the specs no problem at all. Many members may not have “ Corrected vision” which...

Civ6 now on iPhone7 and later

I have the IPad version so simply “ Restored Purchases” to get it on my IPhone 8. Just having a play with the Romans on a tiny Continents map. Some minor interface updates for the phone to improve visuals on the City Screen, otherwise exactly the same as the IPad version. Bearing in mind that my...

[R&F] Rise and Fall for iPad?

Very none commital then. Maybe they are working on R&F for the Nintendo and have put OIS on the back shelf. I’ve no idea how sales went for Civ V1 on OIS. Most likely not too good because of the high cost and subsequent poor reviews. I continue to wait in hope. There is a big market on OIS who...

[R&F] Rise and Fall for iPad?

Thanks Browd, I’ve been away from Civ since Civ4 so have a lot of catching up to do. The IPad port has brought me back. Hours upstairs in the Office on the PC caused issues with the wife. So having the game on the Pad has helped.

[R&F] Rise and Fall for iPad?

Presumably The Pad will also be getting some of the patches that PC has been getting. I haven’t been playing long enough to see many Bugs, but undoubtedly there will be many; which is the norm for any version of Civ post Vanilla. I suspect that there is a Bug when for example I have an Archer...

[Vanilla] Anyway to fix the Ipad version?

Hi, I’ve just returned to Civ after a long lay off as Civ 4 was my last game. I’m only here now as I have now got Civ V1 on IPad despite the issues. I live in hope that now the price has dropped to circa £23 that more Pad Players will be recruited and this Forum will “Rise from the Ashes”...

When can we expect the NEW CIVILIZATION REVOLUTION 2 for the Xbox One / PS4?

As I don't use a PC anymore I still play Res on console and would love to see a sequel appear. 2K must surely be considering this. I'm not techy but reckon the equal of civ4 could port to console now. Living in hope.

    Civ Revolution 2

Now that Nintendo have released the 3DS I believe that this presents a good business opportunity for 2K to release Civ Rev2......please...:D

    Civ Rev for DS3 ?

Thanks, although I had already found this out by visiting a local Gamestation store the information will be useful for other Civ Fanatics. I tend to use the DS more than the Lap-top these days as it is so convenient to use although the DS version of Civ is less sophisticated (allegedly) I still...

    Civ Rev on the DS

I just thought that I would mention the fact that I am enjoying Rev on the DS Lite. I picked up my Grandson's DS and bought a copy of Rev off e-Bay. It transpires that my copy was for the US. Although this plays on the EU version of the DS Lite it won't play on the DS Lite XL which is REGION...

CivilizationRev DS does anyone still play?

My Grandson has taken his DS back after I purchased a new battery for it ( I thought that he had forgotten it) However, all is not lost, I have now purchased my own DS Lite (£60.00 from e-Bay) and have had lots of hours of fun on it playing Civ...of course. I can't recommend the game enough and...

    disband old units?

I could ask the same question of the DS and believe that the answer is a resounding NO to both mediums.

    Is it worth getting?

I have only very recently given the DS version a go and to be honest I am pleasantly surprised at the quality of the game, given that it is a more concise version of Civ. Look it's not TEST cricket it's more like 20-20 but it is still CIV. It is ideal for Civ fanatics who are on the move...

    Civ Rev for DS3 ?

Can anyone tell me if the Nintendo 3DS will play my Rev cartridge which works fine on the DS Lite. I will get one once I know that it will play this game. I am aware that it will play a large number of older games but cannot find out at this stage if it will play Civ.
