If nutmeg is in, cloves and mace should be too. (Or maybe cinnamon.) Having two copies of three spices just makes the most sense, design-wise. I think the general spices resource will be deleted.
Where are these approval ratings? I don't see any. It only says there is one percent more Tea partiers than liberals.
I would not think people dislike liberals as much as Tea partiers, even in this center-right country. There are many moderates who refuse to call themselves liberals but favor...
absolutely. also keep the primaries two months before the general election. these 2 year political seasons are just painful.
Anyways, I think either Bachmann or Romney will be nominated. I'm not sure why, but I'd rather Bachmann get it, even with her blatantly more atrocious ideology. Just...
I don't know why you'd think that. The Democrats have historically dominated state legislatures.
Also, the electoral college was beneficial to Obama in 2008, meaning he had a greater chance of winning the election despite losing a popular vote. What this says is that Democratic votes are more...
Vermont has a potential 110 million deficit, which I guess is significant for its size. Hopefully they will be able to design UHC so costs are limited.
I just read there is a provision in the Obamacare bill that prevents states from implementing single payer until 2017? Great, so not only bland...
So, Dems took those two governorships, and I think that was the only excuse liberals had for not achieving UHC, yes? The next time the CA legislature passes SB 810, Gov. elect Jerry Brown will surely sign it, right? And Gov. elect Shumlin sounds very promising as well. He is meeting Obama...
The giant death robot is not the super secret unit, though? If it was, then it was a pretty terrible secret. I mean there was a whole community update on the website dedicated to it.
Sure, okay. But Civ4 culture bombs ended revolts, converted nearby weak cultured cities, increased city defence(I know, doesn't exist now), and contributed to a culture victory(I assume Civ5 bombs don't add to culture, hopefully wrong). Now we just get tiles.
Yes, but the academies and culture bombs now seem weaker. A culture bomb before could get you a lot more than 4-5 tiles. Of course the +5000 culture part of the bomb would be insane now, so we can't expect that.
The academy used to be %50 science (or a +6sci, +1prod superspec), now, +5 science...
Less I think. No one except Great Scientist can bulb techs now.
The improvements seem overall weaker than the GP functions in Civ4 (Academy, settling, culture bomb, etc.)
I imagine rainfall affects desert/plains/grassland and maybe forest/jungle density, but what does age of planet do? The number of continents? (Pangea---->Modern 7) Meteor collisions/Erosion? (Rocky->Hilly->flat)
I couldn't think up of nine more.
Ayers Rock
Matterhorn
K2 (would really just look like any other mountain)
Grand Canyon (maybe they might pass on this for its lower-elevation river)
