Cultural victories...biggest empire (ignoring puppets) you've done it with

I had 5 cities as my Egypt cultural win. I prolly could have done it with 3 or 4 but I couldn't resist the urge to expand some more. I started off with a bunch of mountains and rivers so I had a huge production going on. I had at least 5x the production the other civs had. With Tradition and my...

    Liberated Civs dont like you??

I liberated Washington and he declared war on me 10 turns later.

Is Montezuma a fruitcake like he was in Civ 4?

I became good friends with him as Egypt. I managed to stay at peace with everyone that game though.

I'm surprised the most visible flaw hasn't been much commented on...

I think its just a matter of getting used to it. People here have spent 4 years looking at the Civ IV mini map and now that its very different people don't like it. I like the Civ IV map better currently but the way the borders played out in Civ IV is completely different from Civ V.

    Favorite Civilization!?

I didn't expect China to be so good. When I saw they're UA I figured it would be useless but I guess it's actually pretty good. My favorite would have to be Egypt. They're UA is amazing when coupled with Tradition and they're UB is pretty good too. In my Egyptian game I never went to war so I...

Anybody achieved a cultural victory yet?

Has anyone achieved a cultural victory with Monty? With his unique ability and puppeting everyone it seems doable.

    Diplomacy Problem

I decided to start a peaceful(mostly) game as the Indians and go for a cultural, diplomatic, or space race victory. I became friends with everyone on the map except for England whom I took out early so I could get the wonders they had built and some Marble. Greece bordered me to the South, The...

How do you monitor civs relationships ?

I kinda like diplomacy not being an exact science like it was in IV. It makes it a lot more like real life. The only problem is the AI being extremely unpredictable.

What have I done wrong in my Greek Empire game?

Alexander my ally just became hostile on me for no reason. It's annoying because I'll take over a city and then 100 turns later everyone's complaining about me being a warmonger.

    CIV IV Habits

I've been building roads to my resources not knowing that it didn't matter at all.

A programmers perspective on a buggy release.

Compared to the release of Empire Total War this one is slightly better. Mount and Blade Warband also had a pretty buggy release. I really don't see this as a big deal.

The sound of civilization - What do you think about the Game music?

I think it's great. The music for Greece at war is just amazing.

My impressions after spending 3 days in the game

I've been playing CIV since 3 and have loved them all. I played the demo of IV and I thought it was kinda meh. I bought it anyways and started 2 games but finished neither of them. I had the same complaints as you but now that I'm in my 3rd game as Greece I'm actually having fun. I too was...

    Music.

I like the score for this better than IV. The only thing I like about IV's music over V's is Baba Yetu. In my Greece campaign the music for when I'm at war is just flat out amazing.

    Unfair to Islam and Taoism?

I always hated that too. Buddists and Hindus always take over with Judaism sometimes. Christianity and Confucianism sometimes become popular but I never see Islam or Taoism. I think they should have a slightly higher spread rate or something because it is pretty annoying.
