Rise of Mankind screenshots and videos

Shortly before hitting 180 population, the game starts rolling over numbers...in other words, you'll suddenly be negative 2 billion something. On a related note, the demographics screen only takes into account slightly over 2 billion population. Started running into that with very old...

A New Dawn Bug Reports and Feedback

Ooooh. I see, the extra buildings. Alright, that's the answer I wanted, thank you. Still, it's unfortunate, as this makes normal RoM playable (2.81, 2.80 has terrible screen loading times), yet not your excellent modmod. Bah. I guess I'll wait for another speed-up miracle. <Ponders upgrades>

A New Dawn Bug Reports and Feedback

Afforess, Load up a fresh 2.81, start a new game, add all technologies, settle a city, enter the city screen. Then do the same after you install your mods. It'll be slower.

A New Dawn Bug Reports and Feedback

The 1.52 version is still working significantly slower than vanilla RoM 2.81...could the added material really slow it down that much?

A New Dawn Bug Reports and Feedback

I notice when installing A New Dawn with 2.81 (Full, no megapack), the speed at which the city screen loads and unit selection happens slows down drastically. From 1-2 seconds to 3-4. Quite noticeable, moves A New Dawn into unplayable territory for me. Is there a particular reason why? This...

    Beta Testers Needed!

What can go wrong, will. If it's possible for it to be the simplest thing imaginable, it will be. If it's possible for you to gloss over it until it is the last possibility, no matter how outrageous or unlikely, it will be.

    RoM Latest Version

<Downloads, installs, starts a new game, adds all technologies, opens city screen. Notices it's much faster loading> Approved. 2 seconds instead of 6 (4-5 with Afforess' speed augmentations). The latter proved unplayable, given that I tend to play large maps with many cities with advanced...

    Beta Testers Needed!

Mmm. SimCity 4. One of my favorite games. Also my number one target for extensive modding. <Smiles> So many mods, so little time... I must not be the only one who spends more time modding than actually playing the game.

    Beta Testers Needed!

Ah, indeed, it was a fault of my own. I apologize. I reinstalled Rise of Mankind, however, I did not apply Hotfix 3 before installing your mods, and this resulted in storms.

It appears I'm still getting storms despite the No Storms option.

    Beta Testers Needed!

"See the AND concepts page, I listed them there." I did so, that's why I checked the civics themselves, to see if they'll show up in game (Outside the Civilopedia). Not a big deal, regardless...not when compared to the veritable art form the rest of the expansion within an expansion within an...

    Beta Testers Needed!

Not to draw first blood, but... Civics that enforce borders do not have that fact reflected in their Civilopedia entries. And, did you mean to make Fixed Borders mandatory? Edit: Nevermind for the last bit...saw the game option on the custom game screen.

    "Limited" open borders agreement

This reminds me of peace treaties and full alliances from Civilization 2. Could be interesting. In fact, would be interesting. An agreement that only allows trading and whatnot would be advantageous when you want to be friendly with a big empire, but don't want to let their armies through to...
