or do you mean change steam power in the tech tree to none? Thereby eliminating it from the game?
might work. We'll just move onto coal power instead... Wait, doesn't steam power give coal? I'll have to change that
How do I disable railroad building? I am thinking of putting gems as a strategic resource but will it crash my game?
I want to do this because I want to play huge map but heard the cause of slowdown is all the railroads the AI builds, and it moves across every square... every unit.
I built one once, saw it's bombard range of 2, and quickly discarded it. I might as well just use artillery. Although I have heard of people using it, so I was just wondering if they have any tactical use.
If so, what is it?
thanks. Yeah I just read that too on these boards
and yeah. MPPs are just a sore spot for m :)
But I'll just shut up about them on this thread. This topic wasn't the point.
Thanks for your help
well, I may change ICBMs back at a later date. And MPPs I'd like if it didn't cause Egypt to come in if Greece declares war, takes a city, and I take it back. That's just messed up, IMO.
*shrugs* I just want the ability to spread my nukes around. I mean, not all my cities are gonna be able to...
alright, thanks again.
Civ Three really is great, and I don't want my experience ruined by some stupid design flaw.
Think I should make this public? Or has everyone done this already?
And I mean, it's just three small changes. No major revamping, a lot of people could do it in 5 minutes if...
oh, anyway to keep ICBM from going in subs if it's rebaseable?
edit: ok, halved corruption, made ICBMs rebaseable, took out MHPs (mutual headache pacts  )
