I would like GOTW more if you were only able to play it one time. Sure it's cool to figure out the best possible way to beat a map but, I don't think that's the essence of Civ. Exploration, luck, and skill should all factor into weekly GOTW contests. The current situation rewards endless repeats...

Yep. Production will be halted and the vessel will not be launched because you are blockaded. Lifeless.. they will not let your ships be built in port but they will the the computer players come out of port :P

I have not done the math but rushing a library in a city and making it focus on science and one food works great for me. I do not make settlers out of it and I always keep a tech lead while everything else is producing. If there are no Egyptians I am always first to Irrigation and it is game...
I pop a warrior or two and then full science to alphabet. I rush a library in my science city after my hundred gold and then pop settlers asap while getting irrigation. Then I swap the best of those cities over to gold and I am set. This is only vs CPU
I have had two Xboxes and they act like they are running an atomic bomb simulation after I end a turn end game. It gets alot worse when far into future tech. Does everyone else on Xbox get that, PS3?
I never use legion or cannon. Depending on who I am I might horse rush but I generally create two warriors for huts. I never use legion or cannon on any one player game even if I am French.
