I think GL is usually regarded as a bad move on higher difficulties, since it takes so long to build. Plus, the AI usually gets to it first.
As for Greece... you probably should have killed them.
Oh. Oh my. I see what happened.
Magni Mundi was going to be a standalone game. However, the guys making it (who were community moderators) weren't moving fast enough or making enough progress or something for Paradox, so the game got canceled.
I think you're just confused, man. Magni Mundi and...
EUIV is built with a new version of their Clauswitz engine. The same engine they used for CKII, but slightly modified for EUIV. Furthermore, Johan himself has been working on EUIV. It's hardly made by community modders.
All I really miss from Civ IV was the way border expansion worked. I don't like having big amounts of territory that might as well be mine but aren't my color. It's a very... obsessive thing, though. Not a really valid complaint.
Otherwise, I think V is better in almost every way at this point...
Seriously this. I'm getting around 300 per turn around Turn 276 as Morocco, and I hardly understand how to optimize. Didn't have much of a problem with money as the Shoshone last night, either. Not anything near what I'm making this game, but still enough to be comfortable.
I apologize in advance if I'm wrong, but Malaysia wasn't always known as such. For a long time it was called Malaya. The peninsula itself is referred to as the Malay peninsula, and it was once called British Malaya.
I certainly don't. I have a pacifist bent, so most of my games end without me putting the sword to anyone at all. Sometimes I wonder if I should find a game that's built more for peaceful builders, but the idea of America building the Pyramids is too wonderful for that.
