Personally, it would be good to have all of the leaders who were present at the start of the War of 5 Kings just to see the proper Yellow Stag used by Renly Baratheon...:)
Otherwise, the huge area of the Stormlands will just be part of Kings Landing no?
Hope it works out, had a lot of fun with the current Ice & Fire mod but it has its issues (lack of unique buildings/wonders/culture/problems with graphics/stability etc).
How far is this away from release?
Bit of an odd one this but do people ever approach a game with the mindset of adopting a particular set of beliefs or government type like Communism or Democracy. I ask because for me in Civ 4, playing as a communist regime really felt like you were a communist regime, you had particular...
Yes, I know they have never been a major "civilization" but an Inuit Civ would be nice, simply because those tundra tiles are a waste and they would add some variety.
Thanks so much guys. I need to reassess my game. I really want to make a successful Celt civ but each time I load up the game I barely get more than 1 forest tile which make these UA a bit crap.
Joshua, thank you so much for your feedback. I guess I am still quite a newb so I will take all your points on board.
The reason why I took Quebec is cos I was hemmed in by the Ottomans and had no land to settle my own cities. As for trees, no that's all i had from the beginning.
I was...
I am still trying to get to grips with culture in BNW. In this game I am playing as the Celts, obviously grabbed the first religion and have been trying to use it to keep up my Science. I am doing okay, but Korea on the other continent are running away with the game.
I have neighbours...
So, basically it is something that will add a slight benefit to your Civ but not really worth trying to aggressively push to other civilizations? Also, if you dont have a religion is there really any reason to fight off other civs religions?
I really don't understand what I am supposed to do if a rival Civ is bullying one of my City States, declares war on an allied Civ or indeed declares war on me? If I attack and take any of his cities I am the wrong with all of the other Civs, even my allies. Needs fixing.
Thanks for the feedback, it seems that religion was not really implemented into that the game that well and personally, I feel that it worked better Civ 4.
Is religion worth focusing on on higher difficulties in BNW? When I put time into a religion and producing buildings and missionaries, as well as defending that religion I feel that the hammers could be better spent on culture which seems more important in the update. How relevant is religion...
Okay so spent a bit of time with this following your advice,
Immediately stopped the war with Songhai and he gave me another one of his cities in the peace treaty which I give away to Poland and Brazil, who then regard me as a warmonger?
I then upped my science and production all over but...
Thank you both for your feedback.
Stellarnight> Thanks for checking out the file. I am amazed you managed to change things around simply by micromanaging. Did you not need to go to war?
Also, in regards to swapping cultural artefacts, is there any negative for doing so or is it normally...
I having been playing Civ 5 since release and felt I had a decent grasp of the game and even when Gods and Kings came out I could slip into it no problem, then Brave New World...:crazyeye:
I am struggling to really get a grasp of the new systematics such as Trade. In my current game attached...
