Incorrect. It still has 1 maintenance. Still, it's 5 gold by the time you get a market in the city too, increasing again with bank etc. I actually think it needs to be toned down a bit, somewhat unbalanced coupled with their already very powerful UA and UU - they have the best complete 'set'...

Perhaps have unhappy citizens cause rioting which damages tile improvements? The chance of it happening increasing for each unhappy face. So your trading posts are constantly trashed if you try this strategy, but the penalty isn't too great if you're in neg happiness temporarily or only slightly.

For Europe perhaps add the Giant's Causeway. Is there a particular reason why the Aurora is listed as North American? ;) I'm also not sure why you've included some of the existing Natural Wonders in your list, but not others.

China UB is too strong, a Library with +4 gold is insane. The gold from that feeding a strong UU army and a crazy UA (GG gives +45% instead of +25% strength and more of them) makes them unstoppable if played decently. Even AI often dominates with them, more than with most other civs from the...

It prevents piracy as much as any other DRM, while also doing other stuff. It isn't "about" any ONE thing, why would it be? It's the sum of its parts.
