Representatives are not leaders. Artists and "great people" may represent certain civilizations or nations, but they don't lead them politically. And, ultimately, it is the decisions of political leaders that determine the success or failure of a nation, and that means that nation's ability to...
I think the closest approximation in English would be something like zhoo-ang-oong (the "ng" like in "sing").
With regard to pronunciation, it's standard modern European Portuguese (no attempts at historical phonetics there).
On the other hand, the grammar and vocabulary are very noticeably...
Merriam Webster's defines factory as : "a station where factors reside and trade eg a colonial factory." Isn't this the same as a feitoria? Asking honestly here.
Here's a classic fado played on the Portuguese guitar (no vocals) for those who are unfamiliar with the genre and the instrument. As you can hear, Knorr really did a great job capturing the spirit and sounds of the genre!

Kind of ironic that the man who reformed and re-founded the University of Coimbra (a non-coastal city, I might add) is left without Universities.
Unfairly so -- and if you're a History teacher, you should know better.

Oh, that's right. I arrived late to the party so I wasn't aware of the timeline.
So, what is the general opinion on the leaked list? I now see there was a poll for that but it was locked.
I see most people here are just ignoring the leaked list of leaders when stating their choice for "guaranteed" civs. Is it because you think the list is fake, or because you think it is horrible and you'd rather not even entertain the idea that it is true?
(God, I hope it is not true)
Wikipedia's article on Civilization had a leader chart. It was recently removed for being deemed too trivial, but you can still see it if you check earlier versions of the page...
This is a Civ game that, despite having a multiple leaders feature, has Greece and Macedon as separate civs. In comparison, the inclusion of Tamar's Georgia is pretty tame (no pun intended).
They can't seem to get skin tones right, do they? They're so afraid of whitewashing that they end up overcompensating in melanin for no valid reason. Here's hoping Tamar will eventually get the Seondeok treatment.
Whoa. I just came back from a short vacation and I'm quite happy to see there's now a Like system in these forums! Never actually thought it would be implemented, let alone only 4 months later. This is a step in the right direction, congratulations to those who had the courage to go ahead with...
