Venice, Babylon I kinda just hate venice generally. I don't like them stealing CS so I usually conquer them first if they're in my game and I really hate not being able to build in my cities. Babylon is just super boring, and invariably playing for a really boring victory condition as well.

I've actually tried getting him to watch a better player a few times (Mad Djinn's stuff specifically), it didn't hold his attention though :(. I also tried a team match once but again I don't think he paid much attention to what I was doing. I imagine me watching him play and offering advice...

Its been a pretty good gen, but ya, nothing new coming I'm pretty sure. I do hope they do a couple more balance patches though. Diplomacy and tradition are still a bit on the strong side.

Its definitely the hardest victory type to learn. Took me forever to get my first CV on BNW. I think its less and extension of SV and more a matter of knowing what tech order to use. CV tends to want a heavy leaning to the top half of the tree and you can basically ignore most of the bottom half...

Does anyone know the percentage of maps the fabled Fountain of OP turns up on? I've logged a good 700 hours or more in this game (not sure cause steam reset them at some point) and have yet to see it.

Every time my friends and I have started a game lately all of us just crash while loading in. Its really annoying. We turned off firewalls, defragged things etc and nothing seems to fix it. Seems like firaxis has a bug to fix or something.
