Not sure if you were being sarcastic, but that argument is getting really old and quite frankly rather tiresome. You do know that there are some of us that prefer nice graphics AND good gameplay right? Is not a question of if I have this I can't have that. If they released a new Civ game that...
Unlikely. I have a 4850+ with 2GB RAM and an ATI 4770 512 MB and ran a small map with medium settings in HD resolution. Performed pretty good until the middle ages, then it began to slow down quite a bit. With DX9 I might add.
Default game, Egyptians (or possibly Aztecs), standard map, GO!
Explore or all the new features, take it pretty easy, peaceful game to get the hang of it.
True! The introduction of city-states presents some very exciting possibilities. Medieval Europe, Holy Roman Empire, maybe semi-independent colonies in the Americas. Could prove to be very cool.
Absolutely. What I like the most about the graphics is the interface, menus and all the little things. It shows that they've really spent some quality time on that in Civ5. Civ4 was a good game, but left a lot to desire when it came to those aspects.
This is really no different than an expansion pack with extra civs, think of it like that. And yes, I'm 100% confident that all extra content will be available as DLCs later on.
