I don't get along with them too, but not just with Germany, and not just since Civ3. But this is realistic, according to the history - starting in Rome who feared the Teutons und goes to the Second World War.

No it wasn't that way. To 3600 it's not 4 but 8 turns. I built a warrior in 4 (5, not sure) turns, moved 4 (3) turns (+1 because of a already built road) entered the goody hut, got a settler and immediately built the city. I've never had your theory yet.

I know very well of this project, and I still love the translations of Civ2 (i.e. 'Russen festnehmen deutsche Stadt Berlin' :crazyeye: ). But you can't complain - they have learned to do better. And imagine how embarrassing it would have been if they did another translation like in Civ2 after...
