I'd like to see the climate change penalties greatly expanded so floods, hurricanes, and droughts (or maybe just all disasters) become much more frequent, damaging, and less likely to grant bonus yields. Climate change affects, y'know, the whole climate - it's not just rising sea levels - and...
Yes, but what I miss most from CQUI is easily a City Panel that doesn't require inexplicably going to a different tab to do anything, meaning 3-4x more clicks than necessary, not to mention needing to go and look for the dang tab in the first place. Oh how I hate it. Now we even have a new...
I want to say no, but I can't speak with complete certainty. I rarely choose techs like that.
@Grotius - I got the impression above that the author wasn't able to solve the bugs and therefore will not be continuing to support it. I could be wrong though. The bugs were really quite minimal (if...
This would be fine if the modern and future governments had mechanics which gave a reason for such animosity (ie, trade bonuses for like govs, bonuses for denouncing civs in other govs, etc), but since they don't it feels gamey as heck. Arg, another missed opportunity.
Anyway, don't want to...
I see, thanks very much for uploading it.:) I do want to finish that game. I did notice that connections were often bugged also.
Too bad, the mod's a great idea - reminds me a little of smac.
I was able to research pottery when I selected a tech that had it as a prerequisite.
Tried a game with this, was quite fun - a great shake up from the normal game.
I did encounter a small bug, however; Pottery was underneath another tech (Writing).
Edit - What's going on? This has been completely removed from the workshop and I can't continue my game since steam apparently...
Apparently lake Natural Wonders are now considered actual lake tiles - meaning boats can enter them. I haven't been able to test this myself but I've seen it twice now, and on different wonders.
Yeah, he forgot the cardinal rule of the internet - never feed the trolls. He could use a few more moderators also, there were tons of douches in there that should've just been banned.
Good point, I hope so.
There are a few situations where I enjoy it:
When the player is really skilled and/or know the game mechanics better than you. I learned Civ IV from watching TheMeInTeam's masterful Let's Plays, for example, or when Starcraft 2 was big I was already too old to dream of...
It's mostly fine, but the forests (and jungles) seem even more sparse now - there are hardly any trees on a tile with a forest and lumber mill. The christmas tree plantation look is worse than ever.. :(
I see Quill is continuing to utilize his patented "avoid settling natural wonders" strategy. I thought having the tile yields on would help, but no.:hammer2: At least it's on Deity..
Unfortunately, such is the state of the AI in civ6 - the AI civs should have easily won multiple victories much earlier. It's pretty sad, even on deity, if you can survive the early rush you are practically guaranteed to win.
Edit: Just wanted to add that at the end of Quill's final Canada...
