First of all I hope this thread is in the right place, wasn't quite sure where to put it.
Now my idea (I have a lot of them).
New Building called 'training grounds' or something like that. It gives units unique promotions when they spend time in it.
You build it in a city, put a unit...
Fantastic idea (Although I'm still not sure I would want to pay Firaxes $5 for the mod pack when the guy who actually designed the mod would be getting nothing)
But really, I think the mods I play are way better and more polished then anything Firaxes has done and this would open up a whole...
All they need to do is make it so Aircraft intercept or AA guns can shoot them down. It may not be realistic but would make for a more fun and strategic game.
Hmm, this is a problem. I can't seem to get through a single game without annoying one of the AI's and once one declares war they all jump on the bandwagon and there's no way I can take on 7 AI's on immortal when they all have nukes :(
Is there any way to stop nukes since you can't build bunkers or SDI defence or anything in civ 5? I've tried putting my aircraft on intercept missions and putting anti-air guns around my cities and nothing works :(

Hey, so I'm thinking of creating a mod where the aim of the game is to steal peoples tiles with culture (like you could in civ4) and take over the world. Is there a way to enable this because currently you can't take other peoples tiles.
Also, how do you enable always war/peace?
