Which civs always snowball in your game, and which fizzle out?

I actually seem to see Polynesia explode in many of my games.

Which Civs/leaders are the worst scumbags/least trustworthy?

I have consistent issues with Babylon... Nebuchadnezzar isn't a very nice guy.

Countdown to Brave New World Pack

Just found out I get it the same day as the "Rest of the World" due to traveling in a location with no wi-fi (aw, who am I kidding? A cruise ship. Doesn't it suck that I'm lucky enough to go on a cruise :crazyeye: ) over the North American release date... At least I haven't been...

    Ashurbanipal vs. Kamehameha

"Excuse me, sir, may I speak to the chef? I ordered the ambiguous special and I got the best meal I've ever had in my life. I just have to ask... what is this meat? Is it horse? No... couldn't be. I had some in a French IKEA, which makes me an expert, you know... Anyways. That meat. Best I've...

    Most disappointing wonder?

I love that we're talking about great wonders of mankind and the image we get to show off the incredible Parthenon is from... Nashville.

    Skill-dorados

For me (and this happens ALL the time) I don't generally get much out of natural wonders because I try to keep games to peaceful science/culture, and every single time that I see a wonder, it is about a tile outside of a city-state's beginning borders. What is that?! Does this happen to other...

    Ashurbanipal vs. Kamehameha

I think Ashurbanipal wins this one, if for no other reason than that he's fully clothed.

Which new civs do you think will be the hardest to play against ?

I'm afraid the Shoshone as neighbors might expand ridiculously fast and gobble up a lot of the land nearby. And Zulu because... Zulu.

What is your least favorite BNW civilization

Venice... I've heard the arguments, and I've learned a great deal about a civilization I didn't even know existed, and Dandolo looks pretty awesome, but... meh.

    Introducing Venice and the Bannock-Shoshone

I originally was indifferent towards the Shoshone, but I've warmed up to the civ substantially, to the point where they may be my favorite civ in-game. I grew up in Boise with a town called Pocatello nearby. I learned about the Shoshone in fourth grade, along with the Nez Perce and others...

    Information Drought?

It isn't even necessarily just the outside of the US... Sure, the Civil War was important, but there are many more historical scenarios that they could have implemented.

    Religion and Diplomacy

One thing that I have to wonder -this might not be very intelligent- is if an Indonesia debacle might arise. What I mean is, Indonesia founds their own religion. Since the candi promotes having multiple religions in a city, would the diplomatic penalty that comes for spreading your religion and...

Which is your favourite new civ from Brave New World?

    1. Morocco Morocco Morocco. As others have said, the environment really excites me. And I never would normally do this, but imagine a sandstorm map with 9 Moroccos... that would be terrifyingly awesome. 2. Assyria, honestly. I like scientific civs, and when I find a civilization that can...

    Pre-Order Brave New World

I've got a pretty ridiculous question. I'm American. If I were to purchase through GreenManGaming, but was out of the country when the game actually released, would I still get the game on the 9th? Would being out of the country automatically push me to the 12th?
