But nothing happens in the interturn. If my units move at the start of the turn, but I chose those moves at the end of last turn with nothing happening inbetween, then I've actually just inputted moves outright. The "interturn", where the AI is acting, is the whole time between your moves (start...
I mean, is that an issue? I also only stockpile gold for specific goals, so I rarely have enough to accept a counter-proposal until spending on rush-buys is way more expensive than my income.
Also, yeah they've accepted.
The game is a little too much "get yields, yields are good, watch numbers go up", but honestly even Civ does that. And Humankind has the potential to move away from that, and they've already made some changes in that direction.
But I'm probably just going to mod the hell out of it.
But...you can just play it as a turn-based game. Just queue up all your moves for the next turn after you see what the AI has done for this turn. It's exactly like a turn-based game. The only times it won't work are when you built a unit and need to give it orders asap but that will very rarely...
Why do you feel that Expansion plateaus quickly? Are you thinking of expansion as coloring the regions your color? You still aren't actually exploiting the land, so have you really expanded into it? If you want a peaceful game, what does expansion really mean? You've removed the only thing that...
You ever have to wait a few minutes for the AIs to go in lategame Civ? This prevents that.
Also, placing your units so they have some movement left in case the enemy moves later in the same turn is now a new tactic. It's just a different way to play.
Hmm, well that's a little different from Endless Legend, though more like Endless Space I think. But yeah, if you don't know anything about the flavor, of course it doesn't mean much to you.
Did you play the Endless games? If not, then I expect the flavor is just so-so and it is not clear that completing the questline is how you obtain victory (though idk if that's true in this mod; I haven't tried it yet).
Several of the African DLC cultures seem to have place-anywhere districts that you will be able to build off of. I think this is a significant development in terms of how to construct cities, and opens up many new strategies. These seem like somewhat unique rules to me.
I hope that Humankind...
Depends on what allows them to make such a demand. If it is because you settled next to them, once you refuse it they lose it. But if it is because of their religious or cultural influence, then they get that same demand back every turn. Don't refuse those, as it will increase war score more...
The event is certainly temporary, though it may recur for all we know.
I selected Olmecs to start my new game, and I noticed the standard units all have a North/Mesoamerican art now! I assume this is because I picked the Olmecs, and it will change as I play? I sure hope so. If they just swapped...
One that retools stability and fame so that you're struggling against collapse to gain fame, but can build up again once stable? Golden Age? Time of Troubles? Fading Glory?
Yes, actual differences in the eras due to some more interesting rules changes during a game will help this a lot. I like the idea that you must spend Money to recruit early units, so Industry is good for building new infrastructure but not also for conquest.
I want expansion to be slower so...
Some of the Wonders seem to only exploit the tile they're on, while others exploit surrounding tiles. Much like the Main Plaza exploiting all FIMS *on* the tile but only Food/Production for *adjacent* tiles, there seems to be nowhere to find this information.
Anyone have any idea how to figure...
So the upcoming patch notes say:
Fixed an issue where the downloaded AI Persona model can be updated by the creator after adding it to a collection or session.
Does this mean personas I downloaded won't be automatically updated?
Interesting. Where does it upload to if you don't have a G2G account?
And if you could name it yourself you'd end up with duplicates from different players.
