I've not had time to even play more than a little bit of SP, but my biggest worry about this game was MP.
Sounds about how i expected: terrible MP that we have to pray gets patched eventually so it's a viable gametype.
What's sad is how much i played MP in Civ5, and even now it's still broken...
Scrambled Maps pack is such a scam.
It breaks the ability to play normal maps you ALREADY HAVE if you don't have that DLC. :shake:
Apparently the Scrambled Maps is on sale right now for another couple hours.

There are two options for Frontier. The destription says Pangaea, but the default landmass choice is actually random between continents or pangaea. You can also select either the continents option or pangaea option in the advanced options.
Nope.
Those screenshots confirm what maps i will never play.
I think i've at least loaded up almost of them, but there are a lot i really have no interest in suffering through as the only way i'd enjoy them is at a lower difficulty than normal.
Oh thank you for this!
I'm quite sure i'm not going to make it as Deity is above my expertise, but it's a really amazing map with my favorite civ.
t110ish spoilers
Love the write up.
Can't really offer advice, as i struggle with Immortal. Definitely not a Deity player.
Sounds like you played pretty well, but runaway Deity AI isn't going to be easy to deal with other than war i think most of the time...
wow that's a brutal looking start...will probably spend a few turns wandering as i'd rather risk getting my settler captured by barbs than settle there...
Moved warrior to the SE hill and was happy with what i saw, so settled on that hill the next turn.
Salt wasn't in first ring, but i worked gems (2f3g) till i could buy the salt tile.
I built two scouts to open, and by turn 6 had found both natural wonders.
I love Kilimanjaro as it turns units...
Inca - 16
Korea - 3
Maya - 1
Poland - 18
Inca.
Crap UU, but amazing otherwise.
Maya.
Crap UU, nice UB, with "free" great people that increase GP cost, meaning they aren't really free.
In short, this means you'll get way less scientists all game...
