    Enhanced User Interface

Running version 1.0.3.279 All expansions and DLC Playing on W10 Pro 64bit, Version 10.0.10586 Build 10586 UI isn't loading at all on startup (i.e. all company splashes, intro video, and legal screen appear). Lua.log shows nothing: [31751.109] Initializing Lua 5.1.4 (It's just the one line)

Tiering of leaders skill as played by AI

Wierd. The two games I've played of RT so far, Hutama did absolutely nothing. I mean, my sitting on his face from the first few turns probably helped, but AIs from BNW were able to get out from under that if they were someone like Shaka or Hiawatha.

BE Enhanced User Interface EARLY BETA

Nope. It's functionally DLC, and there's no way to put that on the Workshop. Manual install only :)

Civilization V: Brave New World Fall Patch Public Beta

What, and granting Faith to the best resource in the game (Salt) wasn't crossing your mind when you thought those things were broken?

Should you take Futurism, ever? (What about this game?!)

Grabbing tourism generating wonders, conquering those you can't build, Hotels and Airports, theming bonuses, National Visitor's Centre, any resolution that gives culture to tiles, Archaeology, etc. It all adds up really quickly.

    A Patch 29 aug?

If a city has already built a Broadcast Tower, then the free Broadcast Tower will provide no culture (and possibly tourism if the T3 Freedom tenet has been taken).

City border expansion connected to other cities? (And a Civ 5 features rant)

No. It rises based on era. 200 until the end of the Medieval, then 300 in Renaissance, 400 in the Industrial, 600 in the Modern, 800 in the Atomic, and 1000 in the Information Era. Multiply by gamespeed (0.66 Quick, 1 Standard, 1.5 Epic, 3 Marathon) to get cost. Pagodas, Mosques, Cathedrals...

Maybe city-states should be there by 4000 BC

It'll only happen when you overload the map with CSs, anyways. Don't do that and it will be extremely rare :) 850 hours and I still haven't seen it happen in one of my games.

Some Tech Progression in Info Era Doesn't Make Sense

Wouldn't it make more sense to harness all possible geothermal, solar, wind, etc. power in the Old World before going to the Americas? Wouldn't it make more sense to build every possible building and wonder in a city before settling a new one? If something is possible, we (as a species) should...

Maybe city-states should be there by 4000 BC

No. That would be pointless. You very rarely start within striking distance of a CS settler, and they settle first turn regardless.

    Majority religion not generating pressure?

You have misinterpreted the Civilopedia :) I made the exact same mistake when G&K came out. You see, majority religion doesn't exert pressure on the city it's in, but it does on all cities within 10 tiles of it (13 if the religion has IP). They probably designed it this way as an easy out for...

    Question about Ethiopia

Ethiopia founds a pantheon on T12, assuming a Stele is the first thing built and Addis is founded on a hill.

Some Tech Progression in Info Era Doesn't Make Sense

Why do we need to be a Level II civilization? I'd say that we might need to be a Level I civ, in order to produce sufficient antimatter as to power an Alcubierre drive in order to get there with a single ship, but why would we need a Dyson Construct in order go to the nearest star system?

Grand Finale: Battle of the Civs!

Mayans. The other civs are arguably better (since with BNW, the Mayans were arguably nerfed due to the science penalty from each additional city), but I think they're the most fun, since their religion game is always hilariously powerful.

    Science Victory: Is it harder?

Don't abstain from the vote, give yourself enough delegates to be either first or second, then you get an additional delegate to push your opinions into the World Congress :)

Swedish start bias is killing me

Uh, no. There's no such thing as a Flood Plains start bias. There's Desert, but not Flood Plains. They have a Grassland start bias, the only place where marshes occur.

Strategies for Tradition, Honor, or Piety

Just FYI, the ToA is better than that. It gives +10% food.

Would you have waited to settle your capital?

They only overlap if you want them to :) if you think that Krakow would grow to be a better city, then only grow it. If you think that Warsaw would be better to grow, grow it. You're an Immortal player, you should realize that sometimes, a city is going to be better that another, and need to...

    Science, NC and tall questions

Something I don't think you understand: the raw beaker count is COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY IRRELEVANT TO WHETHER OR NOT YOU SHOULD BE BULBING OR PLANTING. The question is: will this GS take more turns off of my research if I plant it or if I bulb it later in the game? Will your GS will take more...
