Is Firaxis using outsourced employees whose main language isn't English ? Well, I'm not a native English speaker myself, but I still find switching "its" with "it's" almost as grotesque as "they're" with "there". Mind you, this is a screen that Civ5 players are bound to see many times in-game...
No way to disable the warnings then ?
They get annoying for being a constant as the game progresses and the map gets fully revealed (even with "raging barbarians" off there's plenty of the buggers around).
IMHO, a much more sensible implementation of this perk in the game would have been...
Maybe I'm dreaming, but I could swear I've seen an option somewhere, somewhen, to disable the warning icons for when new barbarian camps are found.
If there is no such option, is there a way to disable them via some game file ?
Thank you very much!
"NoCitizenWarning", heh, no wonder it took me so long to locate the option in the .ini files. Not sure if I would have figured it out at all until I read your changelog for 1.2. :)
One thing I've found out while trying the mod is that the icons in the unit panel are vertically misaligned when...
Hey, trying out the cool Nazi Germany mod (uncensored version, naturally, since no one outside of intellectual disability would enjoy or promote censorship in our current day and age).
I have a question: is it possible to use this with custom games, and if so, how to do it ? Thank you...
First things first: thanks for the cool mod.
However, I tried to use this together with the Swastika add-on and it seemed to work the first time, then when I came back to load a savegame, both the Hitler loading screen and the Swastika icon had reverted to the default Bismarck graphics and...
1) A mod to remove the "Reveals additional actions..." button in the unit panel and automatically show all unit action buttons at once, in one single column.
I realize the Enhanced User Interface DLC includes that functionality, for instance. I was wondering if there are other mods that do...
I'm pretty sure that the right to breathe oxygen will be copyrighted and duly taxed in a near future. People who try to circumvent this will be labelled as filthy criminals by the powers that be, the conformed society will witch-hunt them, and talking about it will be forbidden except if to...
That would be the next logical course of action, I guess. The fact is that while I do have a Steam account somewhere, I haven't used it in ages (assuming it's still active at all), I hate the thing and won't have it installed in my computer, and I would hate to go through that experience again...
Being now well into my very first Civ5 playthrough, one thing I'm missing is a way to see what path and destination units given a "move to" order are following.
It becomes ever more relevant as the game progresses and you have an increasing number of units scattered around the map following...
Thanks for the update.
The version with default font size doesn't seem to be working, though - when the mod is activated, no Civilopedia comes up in the game at all (no error messages either).
I tested the large font variant for debugging, and that one does work so I assume it's some tiny...
Please note that I'm really not sure if this particular problem is related, but you could always take a look here and see if the fix I posted in that thread works for this one too. If it does, please let us know.
