You guys should downloads World Wind from NASA at http://worldwind.arc.nasa.gov/. It's pretty massive at 53 MB but its a sick program that is like 3D google maps, but way better, they have Blue Marble imagry on ther as well as other LandSat and GeoCover. Anyone who like to play around with...
You know there's a lot of walkthroughs and strategy info on the forums for the game, you should refernece them and see what works best for you. Or you can just keep banging your head into the wall till you get it. Thats how i did it, way more fun.
It might just be not working a tile or location next to a forest allows another forest tile to grow. I'm not exactly sure but i have seen forests spring up
Exactly, the ones i mentioned are the projects. The definition is bascially what firaxis wanted to make sure you would take the time to build if you wanted it. I guess it is just arbitrary.

I think this really sums up this discussion.
You English, what a bunch of "loonies". I know people that went to Oxford and Cambridge, but i heard that in Oxford they make you wear a ridiculous robe all around. That is what truly sucks.
Well, you probably set them to work the nearest city and i'm not sure they go out if work is needed but this is the same as civ 3 when you picked automate nearest city, if there was nothing to do they'd just chill in the city. I'm pretty sure you gotta just tell them to get back to work manually.
I wanted to uninstall and then reinstall civ 4 in a different file but i can't find the uninstall icon. do i go to add/remove in the control panel or is there actually an icon that i am missing? It's weird cause every time i start civ4 up it shows the command and conquer generals splash but it...
I actually had a problem where the workers would build so many hamlets that i'd build farms on the ones that didn't grow but the windmills all over the place also cut into my production capacity. There's got to be more options for the workers.
I remember getting a girlfriend hooked to civ3 cuz she used to watch me playing, while yelling at me for playing it, and was just curious that one time when i came back from class she was playing it on my computer and wouldn't let me use it. A bad case of "lemme play one more turn"
I just think expectations are always so high with civ fans but the patches will come out and although i don't have it yet, i'm sure you can live with most of the minor bugs
I emailed Amazon and they told me that there was some shipping changes and that i should get it from 10/28-10/30 after they upgraded my oreder to vernight shipping for free. They said they we getting it from a different supplier
Same here, if i can find it in a store i'm cancelling my pre-order, it still says shipping 24th-26th and delivering 26-28th. i also ordered it on the 19th so i probably got a long wait:mad:
