Just a heads up: this is exactly what I've been waiting for after having played CiV for a bit after release. A complete fantasy mod - I also enjoyed the WH mod and obviously FfH tremendously!

I just wanted to swing by and say thanks for this nice mod! It's also working on Mac OS X now with the recent patch, finally!

Does anybody have any idea how to get this to run on OS X? I've read some threads over in the Mac forum, but sadly the mod crashes, even though it's just loading scripts and xml-files, right? I'd be happy about any hint you have about loading it successfully!

...because they started their own distribution platform called "Impact". Is it better? No. Just another name with the same problems, limitations and risks for customers. And, last time I checked, with less additional value (like achievements, for those who like that kind of thing).

In fact I just bought it a few weeks before CiV launched. Sadly it has UI deficiencies (and not as nice graphics) that make it less fun to play (I'm used to Civ4 after all, that's a huge difference in age). I'd certainly pay for SMAC2 right away. :)
