Spaceship Parts Wont Go Into Capital?

Kind of a moot point since idle workers should be deleted anyway. You can build one later if you need it, or buy it using the gold you save in unit maintenance.

little tip: annex puppets during golden ages

    1) Get luxuries from city-states whenever possible; they don't care who you tick off. 2) Don't skimp on happiness buildings and wonders just because you're running a happy surplus. A colosseum more than pays for itself, but not if you haven't built it yet. I usually get about 3 golden ages...

    Space Factories screw you over

On a space race victory, I take cash that ordinarily has been going to city-states and buy SFs in one or two cities. In the late-game science I can let some city-state relations elapse if it means buying a few turns. Of course, that's because I'm a terrible player and even if I build Apollo...

    Small "Stacking" Suggestion

Civ III had this, they were called armies. The problem in Civ III was that armies had all the hit points of constituent units, so they were overpowered, even though there was a limit to how many you could have. I miss them, and I wouldn't mind seeing them again. They were great for attacking...

A good way to invade at sea?

You could buy an allied citystate, move some units in on their territory, declare war, repel attack, then land more troops.

If Great Artist can discover a social policy...

I rarely need the culture bomb, so I go for a golden age every time. The landmark bonus doesn't seem like enough benefit late in the game. (I have yet to use academies either, which may be an error in my strategy). Getting an instant block of culture would be a nice bonus, even if it doesn't...

How many science beakers are you getting in Medieval Era?

I try to get my science up close to the turn number.

how can a coastal start ever be good?

You've gotta have one powerhouse coastal city if you want a good navy. Might as well be the capital.

AI conquers the other continent, now what?

Up to now I've played only continents maps, and only once out of four games was there a superpower on the other continent by the time I got caravels. If the continents map keeps getting away from you, consider different map types.

    Roads not worth building?

Also, roads are a critical military advantage. I usually build cities next to rivers, and I often build a single road on the other side just to get a free river crossing. On the other hand, for cities that are unimportant, I don't build roads to them until the road will pay for itself.

Prince, 6 civs, often a draw , how do you ?

I have very little problem winning on Prince. How is the AI hard cheating?

Can't move spaceship parts into Capital - Help!

I think it's a game balance thing; you have to protect your capital from domination anyway, and protect the city with spaceship parts, so the game puts both eggs in one basket. That way you're not penalized if your production city is not your capital (you don't have to protect both cities).

AI conquers the other continent, now what?

Well, if it's just your capital and his capital left, you can try to blitzkrieg his capital.

So who has already played more than 100 hours?

Only 54, feels like twice that.

Funny observation: Citystate Lhasa getting cocky!

Edinburgh declared permanent war against the US even though none of the other neighboring city-states did. I don't know why. Their tactics were horrible, they didn't take anything away from him for over a thousand years, even though I kept gifting them more advanced units. They would just run...

    So is this Revolutions 2?

No, in Revolutions the AI is smart enough to notice when you're close to victory and dogpile you.

    When aren't citizens working tiles...?

What I would like to see is the ability to lockout certain tiles (as opposed to locking them in as you can now) and locking down some specialists while letting the AI do whatever it wants with the others.

City States is it worth paying them?

Yes, yes, a thousand times yes. Buying cultural states is awesome if you have a small empire. Military states can help you upgrade your army (if you get a good unit, replace one of your old units, otherwise just gift it to an ally in a strategic position). Easy way to get luxuries, and extra...

best way to liberate a city state you conquered

Liberation has benefits. To get the benefit, you actually have to sacrifice something.
