I was wondering, is it necessary to cover all land in railroads in Civ4? I have a habit of doing that from Civ3 and earlier but I get the impression it only helps certain types of land now.

Can't you build a city in the upper left near the pig island? It would overlap somethign terrible of course.

Hi, I have a somewhat related question. In resource trding, if I have, say, 1 marble and I trade it away, do I lose the bonus I get on building some wonders? Do I need to make sure I keep at least 1 instance of a resource for myself?

I can relate to this too. I've played 3 games so far. First, on the easiest level, not settler the next one. Chieftain? I won no problem, cause all the other civs jsut sat there the whole game. I tried moving to warlords after that. The first game I got crappy land with no horses, no metals...
