The logic that you are using does not make sense to me. If my parents created me, and I one day paint a picture, is that picture the creation of my parents? no. At some point you must accept that if the Judeo-Christian exists he is not responsible for evil, humans created evil themselves.

It seems to me that sin, bad people, and evil are human inventions, not God's.

It should run Civ IV well and you should be able to play Medieval II comfortably according to its system requirements. I agree with vbraun, I personally would wait another year or two before getting a 64 bit OS.
