I really enjoyed this game. I'd never played OCC before which was fun although I kept thinking 'that would be a nice place for a city...' but at the same time not having to worry about when to fit in settlers and expand was nice.

It seems to matter a lot what setting you are on. Anecdotal and not tested scientifically but I feel like aliens are a lot less aggressive on Frigid than they are on Lush. I believe it is true because if you read the descriptions they even all have different settings for each type of...

If it is Steam, there's apparently an update Steam released that won't work with Buffy. They need to patch the Steam 'beta' version to revert back to the one the rest of us have. Disclaimer: I haven't done this myself but I read it on the board somewhere and it seems to have helped some...

Only four of the seven teams uploaded the requested Turn 60 save but to be fair the server was down when a lot of teams hit that point. I got bored and figured it would be interesting to load up each save and see what each team was up to at that first checkpoint... All four teams have four...

Is it possible to deal with raging barbs without a starting metal or should I just ignore any start without copper? Defending first two cities with archers fine but can't do anything about the plundering so every improvement I built is long gone and it seems like by the time they get finished...

Just finished 1963 which isn't good but it's my first space win ever so pretty happy about it. This game seemed to be the anti-space settings so was glad I finally got one to work even though it didn't go ideally. Might try again for a better result but not sure if I have it in me to do this...

Mine had a big mean barb camping in the hut when I found it and he had no interest in sharing. I had to run home and get a few friends but we came back and beat him up for it eventually! Pretty sure I got a few gold from it as well 'cause I remember thinking it wasn't worth the invasion...
