What's the best way to get to producing tools as early as possible? I really stink at this game, but it seems if I can get tools (more and sooner) that it would help tremendously. Thanks in adavance:cry:

I played the demo, and found it lacking compared to Civ4 BTS. Being a Civ fan, I probably will eventually buy it, but only after the price has dropped significantly. Civ 4 seems so much better than Civ 5. :hammer2:

the AI favors Space Race victory

I wouldn't say a culture victory is cheesy, but it is much easier to get than a space ship or domination victory I've only managed to get a diplo victory once, the AI is usually pretty uncooperative

so my peace loving ways are working against me when it comes to spaceship victory, damn

I've also gotten back into Civ4. Played a lot this weekend for the first time in a year or two. Loads of fun. Now I just need to remember everything that I've forgotten.

I didn't even notice it, I was too eager to get Spore installed and start playing. Guess I'll have to take a look when I get home tonight.

keep the forum open, there may not be as much traffic as in the Civ forums, but the game is still worth a look
