sounds like a sweet game you have set up there. havent ever tried it on just conquest victory, ill have to check it out sometime. How do you find the naval combat in the game, are you finding the AI is using it alot more since your on continent map?

Unless your playing with Rome (and their UU) I wouldnt start a war untill i got catapult the bombard ability is really uselfull, and it takes alot of units to take a city with out a couple of catapults destroying the defence of a city. Also before a war make sure you have enough units to destroy...

ya you certainly dont hear about car companies making "recalls" on failed products. certainly didnt happen to my parents 99 cavilier. the fact is that video games arent the only products that ship with problems.

Ya i can agree with that, alot of people sound like they have just written the game off completely but ya they do have to fix the issues with the game but i think people need to be more patient with the game. Its barely been 2 months and we've gotten a patch for it im sure they are looking at...

I love this game like I love breathing. Although yes when it did first come out i had a hard time adapting, but once i found a strategy for conquest and culture victories and the Canadian Mod came out I was hooked. :blush: The game holds my attention with great visuals and keeps me on my toes...

when promoting your units do people stick to the same promotions for every units or do you try to spread it out so you have a mixed range of abilities. I usually stick to the combat promotions and the raider promotions for attacking units and the city garrison promotions for the defence
