As expected... Trickle out DLC and make you pay for every small improvement that is given to the game. Something like BTS will cost over $100 if done this way. Got to love the industry.

Are they planing actual expansions? All is see is DLC for new Civs. Anything currently out there or in the works for an expansion to expand and add new mechanics, along the lines of "Beyond the sword" and such? I really dont know as I dont follow the game at all anymore.

After originally liking the new CiV I now can take it or leave it. I play CIV almost daily, haven't played V in months...just no desire to. Anyway one of my problems with the new Civ is DLC. Don't like the idea of it at all. I know the industry is moving that way, doesn't mean I have to like it...

Siam is one of the better Civs in the game. I think people voted for it becouse they dont like the fact Siam is in becouse too many Asian civs alread in the game, or its in over a civ they think deserves it more or, "what has Thailand done for the world?" etc... whatever Silly reason that...

Well I just hope they work on the core game itself, not just the bugs. Right now the game is just bland its really not fun to play. (nothing to do with the bugs). I would love to see Stardock really make this game shine.

Ditto... is it even possible to play a complete game? I have started 5 games and not completed a one. Because, sooner or latter, I get to a turn that refuses to 'turn over' the globe just spins and spins... I reload the nearest auto save and when I get to that same turn I have the endless...

To me this is not the point. I dont like the style of civ 4 leaderheads. I think if they would have gone in a differant more serious direction with the artwork they could have been as good as what we have in 5 though still differant.

i found the cartoonish look of the leaders in Civ 4 to take away from an otherwise fantastic game. The leaderheads just looked silly to me in 4. 5, without a doubt, has the superior look in this regard.

Below 50 has the single highest percentage (but NOT majority)?! C'mon people! Yes, the game has flaws and yes, at this time, Civ 4 is a more complete and comprehensive game... but under 50? Thats just a vote on pure emotion, nothing more. I voted 80-85; its still a good game and is fun to play...

Actually What they are refering to as "Siam" in this game is the 1st true Thai empire- Sukhothai. Sukhothai only lasted for about a centurary....until it was taken over by the 2nd Thai empire- Auyuthaya (When the Siam actually started to be widely used) that lasted until the the 19th centuary...
