I think Oil might be bugged

Well, I play large maps, so finding oils wasn't a big problem for me. But I also cannot remember seeing oil on desert tiles in in my games. I sually find it on ice tiles

Is Marble a wonder tool anymore?

It looks like marble is just a luxury resource now

Splinter Of The True Cross - Why Did I Get This In 3880 BC?

Dependsa on what your tech level was when you got it, I guess. According to your screenshot you were in 1526 AD and lready were culturally "researching" suffrage ... which IIRC is culturally industrial times. If your technology was on a similar level, I guess this would just be a single...

Splinter Of The True Cross - Why Did I Get This In 3880 BC?

I found the grasscutter sword when I was still a primitive tribe and didn't even had discovedred bronze working. On the other hand this seems plausible, considering that, according to legends the grasscutter sword was found by a japanese god in the body of a monster he had slain .... I guess in...

Let AIs Live & Pay or kill them?

Most of the time I let the AI live. On rare occasions I declare premptive wars by myself ... for example if the AI swarms me with missionaries, or if all items of certain streategic resource on my continent are in locations of AI cities. All is different, however, if the AI declares war on me...

Niter should be discovered before musketmen

I definitely agree. The knowledge about a resource should come before one is able to research practical technologies based on that resource

Light Cavalry and Heavy Cavalry... why?

It would be nice if heavy cavalry would get some early gunpowder era upgrade ... cuirassiers. Those were stripped of most of their armor, but retained a heavy bulletproof breast/backplate (the cuirass) and helmet. And used pistols and swords on horse (instead of the lance, the knights used)...

Wonders should be districts or buildings within districts, not take up whole tiles.

Well, some of the wonders, if taken with their real world counterparts, would even be larger than one district. Take for example Ruhr Valley. In real world it is actually several cities (especially Dortmund, Essen, Gelsenkirchen, Bochum and Duisburg) which housed the bulk of germanies coal...

Is there really no build queue?

Sounds like they haven't activated yet either due to unsolved bugs after Betatesting it, or because they weren't able to betatest it (due to time constraints) and didn't want to risk introducing bugs into the release version with it

    Tanks Obsolete?

I guess that is because US tanks use depleted uranium for the SABOTs and part of the armor layers. But there are other competitive modern tanks that don't need any depleted uranium at all, for example the german Leopard 2. So, uranium as necessary resource for modern tanks surely doesn't make sense

    Favorite Map Type so far?

Continents. But I acutally would love a map that is a mix between continents and island plates. Something like "small continents"

    Your preferred game speed

Similar for me. My first game in Civ VI was Standard, but I guess I will return to Epic from the next games on

The districts, definitely ... they are a really positive difference between Civ VI and previous versions

    Tanks Obsolete?

In a way, I have to admit, that the resource system is a little bit inflexible (and doesn't take into account substitutes) Look at the example of MBTs. I guess, the requirement of uranium is because of US tanks needing depleted uranium for their SABOTs and part of their armor. But now look...

    Quick Question for an idiot~

The idiot says: If it involves a faster CPU, this may be the case Although after all I hear there already is a way to shorten turn times without having to buy new hardware ... by going to the option and activating something like "Quick AI moves" (or whatever it is called) as else every unit...

    Tanks Obsolete?

I wouldn't blame the Firaxis QA team for this. IMHO this is a game design choice ... and its problems should already been foreseeable at this (design) stage Hopefully at one time they change it into a system where you can build the older units until you actually have the resources to build the...

Is there really no build queue?

Actually lack of features can be a sign of a good design. Examples: A Gamma Ray Weapon that kills every enemy unit in range also can be seen as a feature An I-Win-Button can also be seen as a feature The ability to see every unit on the map can also be seen as a feature But I think we all agree...

Civilization Eliminated - Good or Bad ?

Aye, IMHO it is a good thing that the AIs can wage war among themselves, even to the point of elimination That gives you more of a feeling to be embedded in a network of competing civilizations and also provides you with stronger (possible enemy) AI civs (as the surviving/victorious civs in AI...
